Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies on Exordia Cloud.

Effective Date: February 17, 2026

Last Updated: February 18, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Exordia Cloud LLC ("Exordia," "we," "us," or "our") uses, why we use them, and your choices regarding their use.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides further detail on how we collect and process your personal information.

2. Cookies We Use

We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the Service to function. We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies.

2.1 Authentication Cookies

These cookies are essential for secure login and session management.

Cookie NamePurposeDurationType
__Host-authjs.session-token / authjs.session-tokenMaintains your authenticated session so you stay logged in7 daysEssential
__Host-authjs.callback-url / authjs.callback-urlStores the redirect URL during OAuth authentication flowSessionEssential
__Host-authjs.csrf-token / authjs.csrf-tokenProtects against cross-site request forgery attacksSessionEssential
collab_tokenAuthenticates real-time collaboration WebSocket connections for workshop editing15 minutesEssential

In production, authentication cookies use the __Host- prefix with Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite attributes. In non-production environments, equivalent cookie names without the prefix may be used for local development.

2.2 Preference Storage

We use browser local storage (not cookies) for non-essential preferences such as:

KeyPurposeType
sidebar-collapsedStores dashboard sidebar collapsed/expanded statePreference
panel-width-*Stores split-panel width preferencesPreference
exordia-cookie-notice-dismissedRemembers that you dismissed the cookie notice bannerPreference

Local storage items persist until manually cleared by you through your browser settings. They are not sent to our servers with each request.

3. Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar third-party analytics or advertising services.

During the OAuth authentication process, your identity provider (such as Google or Microsoft) may set their own cookies on their domain as part of the sign-in flow. These cookies are governed by the respective provider's cookie and privacy policies:

  • Google: Google Privacy Policy
  • Microsoft: Microsoft Privacy Statement

Our payment processor, Stripe, may use cookies on its own domain during the checkout process. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device;
  • Delete individual cookies or clear all cookies;
  • Block cookies from specific or all websites;
  • Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies.

Important: If you block or delete our essential authentication cookies, you will be unable to log in or use the Service. These cookies are required for the platform to function.

5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Since we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals do not change your experience on our platform. We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid expression of your privacy preferences. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, the activities that GPC is designed to restrict do not occur on our platform. For details on privacy rights requests, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we add new types of cookies beyond what is described here (such as analytics cookies), we will update this policy and notify you through the Service or by email before using them. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
